Good to know

The Bougie Bunkhouse at Kista Vista Glamping is the perfect place for couples, family, and friends to gather. We are located right in the heart of Kisatchie National Forest area, with a creek across the lane and miles of trails right here. Sparkling quartz countertops and luxe finishes greet you as soon as you unlock the door. This glamorous tiny home offers a four poster Queen bed with Zinus green tea memory foam mattress and a Serta queen-sized pullout sofa bed. The canopy of legacy live oak trees envelop the site, making it a true nature retreat without giving up one comfort of home. The outdoor areas were thoughtfully located to honor the landscape of our historical area. The outdoor theater offers the experience of movies under the stars with stereo speakers and a pulldown, 120" projector screen. You can soak or float in the stock tank pool or enjoy our swing or various seating options and watch DVDs or streaming services on the projector. Our Coffee and Snack Bar and outdoor Dirty Soda Bar are something we worked hard to make truly unique with a great selection of flavorings, teas, coffee and more. You will be on about 20 private acres, bordered by a historic homestead built in 1901 (tour available) and our horse farm across the road. Access to Campground Creek is a short walk across the road, and there you will find amusement of watching fish swim and access to our private trails. This land was part of the Trail of Tears and steeped in WWII history as well from the Camp Claiborne training days of the 1940s. Historical and nature tours are available with a little notice. **There is no digging or artifact hunting allowed on any of our properties. This is a protected area. ADD-ON EXPERIENCES: Enhance your experience with a tour of our 400+ acres on site and just down the road. You can book a private swimming hole experience for a half or full day, tour the farm and meet our horses and ponies, and we are also licensed to perform marriages. We would love to make your stay as fun and relaxing as you imagine. Packages will be offered after booking, and you can reach out with any questions or to customize your stay. **We also have Clark's Cabin just two minutes down the road if you plan to gather with another family or group. Click my AirBNB profile and you will find it as Solitude at Kisatchie National Forest.

The cabin was secluded and quiet. The dipping pool was just what we needed to relax. The cabin had everything we needed plus extras. Victoria went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and made it extra special by supplying rocks and paint for us. She is very responsive and answered any questions we had. We will be staying again.

Everything exceeded our expectations. We had an issue with hot water and they went above and beyond to make sure our being comfortable was their #1 priority. Look forward to going back very soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wow! We’re going to add some extra stars for this special hidden gem and the hosts! Victoria thought of every little necessity down to contact lens solution, bug spray, hair ties, a lint roller, and everything in between. The snack and drink selection was second to none. The cabin was fresh and clean, which suited our OCD perfectly. Everything in the cabin was nice and new with up to date technology. The hosts went above and beyond for us during our entire stay. Victoria and Patrick were the absolute best and most generous hosts we have ever had in all of our Airbnb experiences. A “bougie” glamping experience it was! We will definitely be back for more peace, quiet, and creek time….

She was very attentive and was always accessible . However she left us with not needing one thing .. she provided over and beyond with wonderful amenities and details . An absolute will go back many many times again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bougie Bunkhouse by Kisatchie Vista Glamping was our perfect city escape. Rest and relaxation abounding! In addition, they provided awesome coffee, with many flavor options! The Bougie Bunkhouse included all of the essentials we needed, it was perfect! The surroundings are peaceful, you can hear the wind whisper through the trees. We walked down to the creek and on the trails and in the Kisatchie National Forrest during the day, then grilled our dinner and ate under the stars in style in the evening! Victoria, our host, was welcoming and made sure we had the items and information we needed on hand, including maps of the area attractions. Three days was not enough, we can not wait to go back! Thanks Victoria!!!
